Awakening in The New Year and Setting Conscious Intentions

Online Retreat January 12 – 14, 2024

Practicing together at the beginning of a New Year provides an ideal time for reflection and taking refuge in dharma and community. By taking time to pause and look into our hearts, we can better care for ourselves and those around us with loving attention and wise action. Through deep inquiry we can also clarify our intentions for the New Year and live from the truest part of ourselves. With a supportive practice schedule, guidance from the teacher and a warm community of participants, let’s awaken in the New Year together.

This retreat, offered on Zoom, is suitable for all levels of experience and will include periods of sitting and walking meditation, dharma talks, instruction and group discussion. Grab a little cabin in the woods if you’d like or join us from home. This retreat is offered on a sliding scale from $100 – $175. Please pay at the highest level you can afford so we can also offer scholarship spots to anyone who needs additional support. Support for the teacher (dana) will be offered separately at the end of the retreat. You can pay with Venmo @onedharma (preferred) or Paypal at the button below. 7:15 – 8:30 Practice

6 A.M. Sit (optional)

6:30 A.M. Walk (optional)

7 – 7:40 a.m. Sit 

7:40 – 9:15 Breakfast and open time

9:15 – 10:30  a.m. sitting and practice instructions

10:30  – 11:15  a.m. Walking

11:15  Noon – Meditation

Noon to 2 p.m. Lunch and Open Time

2:00 – 2:40 Sitting

2:40 Walking or mindful movement

3:10 Home practice sitting, walking or optional teacher meetings

4:20 Q&A, meditation

5:00 walk

5:30 Dinner break

7:00 – 8:30 dharma talk and evening group practice session

8:30 home practice, meditation and walking

9:30 rest
