Heart and Wisdom Practices for Challenging Times

Thursday Evening, September 17 – Sunday Morning, September 20
Sponsored by Red Clay Sangha, Led by Lisa Ernst

During these difficult, chaotic times, how do we best utilize meditation and mindfulness to help us face daily challenges? Can we continue practicing and keep our hearts open even if we feel overwhelmed with anxiety, anger or grief? In this retreat we will explore practices that can support us and create space for loving presence and wise action, for ourselves and others during this time of ongoing uncertainty.

The online home retreat is designed with schedule flexibility to accommodate home practice. It is suitable for newer as well as experienced meditators. It will include sitting and walking meditation, daily instructions, dharma talks and meetings with the teacher. All you need is a quiet space in your house and a device with a ZOOM connection. Since most of us are spending more time at home these days, this is an ideal way to deepen practice and carry the insights into daily life with greater ease when the retreat ends.
