Intimate with Life
Online Multi-day Retreat
Thursday Evening, April 15 – Sunday Noon, April 18, 2021 with Optional Extension to April 20
Led by Lisa Ernst
“Enlightenment is Intimacy With all Things” ~ Dogen
Each spring the earth awakens from its winter slumber as the days grow warmer and longer. During this time together we will renew our minds and hearts in the simple yet profound practice of sitting and walking meditation. Gradually this practice will lead us to intimacy with all of life as we touch the present moment with a kind and open heart.
With the support of a group practice schedule, teacher guidance, and a warm community of participants, this retreat will help you access the liberating power of awareness right where you are. It will include periods of sitting and walking meditation, instructions, dharma talks, q&a and optional group or private meetings with the teacher. The retreat will follow a similar format as an in person retreat but will provide flexibility to accommodate the reality of home practice with others in the house. (Everyone is welcome to follow the full formal schedule, or participate in the Zoom sessions only).
This retreat is suitable for all levels of experience from beginner to long term practitioner. It is offered on a sliding scale of $100 – $150 for the three night option and $150 – $200 for the five night option. Please pay at the highest level you can afford so we can support others who need to pay less. There will be a separate opportunity at retreat’s end to make a dana offering (donation) to the teacher. Reduced fee scholarship spots are available if you need financial assistance. Email email@example.com with questions.
Please indicate with your payment how many nights you will attend. Payments can be made at the Paypal button below, by Venmo @onedharma or by check to One Dharma Nashville, P.O. Box 158533, Nashville, TN 37215. Please include your email address.
